Celebrity Cricket League season 6 – CCL 6 2016 event is starting from 23rd January 2016. This year CCL 2016 is the 6th season. In 5th season of CCL, two matches of it were played in Ahmedabad at Sardar Patel Stadium. This year also CCL 2016 matches will be played in Ahmedabad on 30 January 2016, Saturday.

Match 1: Mumbai Heroes Vs Bengal Tigers

Timing: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Match 2: Punjab De Sher Vs Bhojpuri Dabanggs

Timing: 6.30 PM to 10.30 PM

CCL Director Sohail Khan recently was in Ahmedabad for the announcement of CCL season 6 2016’ matches in Ahmedabad Gujarat. First match will be played between Mumbai Heroes and Bengal tigers. Second match will be played between Punjab De Sher and Bhojpuri Dabanggs.

In this CCL 6 2016 matches many celebrities will be present like Salman Khan, Boney Kapoor, Sri Devi, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Manoj Tiwari, Sonu Sood and many other celebrities. In the Ahmedabad, at Sardar Patel stadium people will enjoy matches between Mumbai Heroes and Bengal Tigers; and Punjab De Sher and Bhojpuri Dabanggs on this 30 January 2016.

This time CCL match is having 2nd year in Ahmedabad. Last time there was a good response by Ahmedabad public. Riteish Deshmukh and Mahesh Manjrekar will be seen in the team as Marathi and Mumbai are in same team. There is a gossip that Emraan Hashmi and Ayushmann Khurrana may join the team.

Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt Anandiben Patel has inaugurated Sabarmati Festival on 6 Jan 2016 at 7pm. She arrived sharp at 6:30pm and went to see how well it has been managed at Riverfront park. Then she went on the stage to light up the diya to begin the celebration. Smt Anandiben Patel’s daughter Smt Anar Patel was also presented at the venue and to make this festival happen. Ms Anar Patel has over 20 years of experience in social work, focusing on the empowerment of women and children. Both mother and daughter are doing fantastic job for Gujarat and Ahmedabad. We need leaders like this to achieve futuristic goals for growing India.

There was a wonderful Audio Visual (a Nritya Natak) Gujarati Play performed on stage called “Sneh Ni Sarvani, Sabarmati Nu Paani” which had Ahmedabad’s 1st ever theme Rap song performed by Aarjav Trivedi, Netri Trivedi, Mayur Chauhan and Rahul Raval – Chhello Divas movie stars and a wonderful speech was given by veteran actor Shree Siddharth Randeria about Ahmedabad and Gujarati people.

There was an award ceremony in which many of the Gujarati actors and achievers were awarded. Team of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, Khichdi, famous bollywood actress Asha Parekh, Shiamak Davar and many more were present.
