Minor Girl Raped By Father’s Friend Repeatedly At Knife Point In Gujarat

A girl was allegedly raped by her father's friend, Udaybhan Vishwakarma, 38 at knife point in Amraiwadi area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
According to a report by The Times of India, the accused would visit the victim's house quite often. He committed the heinous crime when the girl's family was away out of town for a social function, leaving her and a family member in the house.
Udaybhan forcefully entered the house on the day and repeatedly raped the minor. Later, her father lodged an FIR at the Amraiwadi police station, based on which Udaybhan was arrested.
"We've arrested the accused late on Tuesday night," an Amraiwadi police officer said, according to the report.
"The complaint mentions that Udaybhan, who stays in the neighborhood, forced himself in the house when the girl was alone and raped her repeatedly at knife point," he added.
The girl was sent for a medical examination which confirmed rape and the police also sent the clothes of the victim and the accused for forensic tests.
"We have sent the clothes of the girl as well as the accused for forensic examination" said a police official.
